Without a doubt, it's a look that rarely goes wrong. When you have a traditionally styled home with plenty of trim and other details, you best serve that home aesthetically when you increase the contrast between the trim and the field color. For the broad white trim of this new-construction home, Illinois-based JB Architecture wisely shaded down the field color's gray to emphasize its difference from the white trim. When speaking with painter I specifically asked if two coats would be used. Was told I would be totally happy with work when finished. Everything was sprayed and with only one coat. The paint is wiping right off the walls. I was told touch up paint would be left in the garage and no paint was left. I have noticed that several trim edges were not painted and tried to contact the owner with no response. Not at all happy. When I pointed out that the paint was easily wiping off was told it was because of the color I chose. I’ve owned two homes and have never had such a poor paint job. House Painting Thornton
